“Every one of my paintings has a secret, a mystery that only the observer can see, a message for them alone and it cannot be explained in words…it is a gift from Spirit or the Universe or Life Force Energy” Catherine Whelan Costen, Intuitive Artist
Art can play a significant role in how you feel. Our homes and workplaces are reflections of us. Do you have a reading room, or energy healing space and is it the reflection you want it to be?
Our homes used to be places we designed, we put our mark on for generations in the future. Today we often forget that our homes are meant to be our sanctuary from the world. Too often we invest in a house and forget to invest in ourselves. Home is where the heart is..
What’s on your walls? What’s behind you during your online broadcast or meetings? An original piece of art can provide just the right energy for your meeting, or a tapestry might add some warmth by draping it over a chair, or hanging it on a wall. There are many options available with my art compositions.
Inspiring? Calming? or Chaos?
Art is energy-it can change the energy in a room-our environment plays such a key role in how we feel and respond to life! Maybe it’s time to update your energy space!
I’m thrilled to be able to share my creative art with you! If you don’t see something in the size or expression that would fit your world, you may wish to set up a virtual private viewing to explore other compositions that are not displayed on the website. (use the contact form to arrange a time)
Note: Colours on the website may differ than on the original work when they are viewed in various light conditions. Some paintings have metallics or colour shifting in the paint, so that will change the way they look under different light. Also some paintings have a texture, whereas others are smooth. It is paint on canvas and paint is not smooth like a photograph.
This is what the back of my paintings can look like, they are not finished but rather left organic. Sometimes they are messier than others. My Logo Stamp will be on it, with my signature, along with it’s number. I also sign the front or side of the canvas depending on the composition. I do not recommend putting a backing on the canvas, as the air flow helps to ensure it’ll last over time. You may wish to add a wire hanger to it, but they are generally light enough to hang with a small nail or even a push pin (again that will depend on size), or they can be displayed on a stand. I’ll leave that up to the buyer.
I do want to point out that the canvas should not lean on anything that could dent or cut the canvas and it should not touch the wall as temperature and moisture in the air could cause it to stick.
All paintings will have a finish for protection. Sometimes the finish will have texture, or cracks as part of the design, sometimes they’ll be smooth. They can be dusted or gently wiped with a damp cloth.
